MultiUserMail 1.0(MUM)
-------------------
Required
--------
·MultiUser (I have 1.8, I'm not sure about earlier versions)
·Your user dir to has the assign User: (There is some special software for
this that turns your user dir into a psedo drive; it's called MAssign and
is on Aminet, probably in util/misc). Or you can add this to you
startup-sequence:
C:userinfo q > ENV:user
Assign User: <users.dir>/$user ;fill in users dir (i.e. dh1:users/)
Installation
------------
·Copy everything in Mail/c/ to C: ("Copy Mail/C/#? C:")
·Deleted Mail/C/ dir
·Copy Mail/ to somewhere (or leave it where it is) and give it the assign
Mail:
·In the News dir (Mail/News) make directories named after each of your user
groups (root, family, guests etc)
·Make a Mail dir in each user directory
·Each user must have a .signature in User:
·If you move NoteIt! into your utils dir or somewhere other than Mail: then
you need to change the news.read.script and then mail.read.script
(directions within script)
Usage
-----
Very simple, just execute the scripts (it would be good to assign them to
a menu or toolsmangager etc.
Flaws
-----
·When compiling the new messages file it copies over the old. If you don't
want this to happen edit the mail.read.script and take away the ";"'s on
the section that backs up old message files.
Future
------
·Bleak.
·Address book/list, ability to attatch files, a hundered other features
real mail software has.

·Stamp by Litrik De Roy (I don't know how I got this command but it was
in my C: dir)
